Thanksgiving Collection
The Whole Table, Swap by Swap
Turkey, dressing, greens, yams, mac, cranberry, gravy and pie — every dish on the plate, rebuilt to keep the flavor and bring the carbs down. This is the full meal, not one dish.
The Centerpiece
The turkey is the one thing you never have to portion. The gravy and cranberry are where the hidden carbs and sugar live.
The Sides
This is where a Thanksgiving plate is won or lost. Every side below keeps the dish you grew up with and rebuilds how it is made.
The Sweets
Dessert stays on the table. It just stops being a corn-syrup delivery system.
How to build the plate
The order and the portions matter as much as the recipes.
Half the plate is greens and vegetables — collards, green beans — before anything else lands on it.
4 oz turkey next. Protein and fiber arriving first flattens the glucose curve.
Then measure the starches: 1 cup dressing, 1/2 cup mac, 3/4 cup yams. Do not mound them.
Gravy and cranberry are flavor, not volume — 2 tbsp each.
Save the pie for 45–60 minutes after the meal instead of stacking it on the plate.
Walk 15–20 minutes after eating. It is the highest-leverage thing you can do all day.
